In a nutshell, we are looking for someone to join and run side by side with our current Social Media Manager to ensure that Boss Mama's digital presence on all socials is always spot on, in trend, and optimised for the best business results! 

  • Accountable for content creation & scheduling to drive traffic, engagement, leads, retention, that align with business objectives.
  • Own the day-to-day management (including creating posts/captions, managing marketing assets, creating post-campaign reports and analysis) of our key online communities
  • This role requires a mindset of a brand publisher; to create content our audience resonate with in order to optimize conversion.
  • Develop and manage content calendar and organization workflows.
  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including FB, IG, YouTube, Tiktok and etc. Understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
  • Perform measurement and optimization of the program on a regular and ongoing basis

Job Requirements

The technical stuff:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Management would be most relevant but we are open to applications from all faculties.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tiktok, and other social media best practices
  • Bonus points if you are personally active on social media too! (It shows us that you know how to use it)
  • Excellent copywriting skills in English. 
  • Good Malay writing skill is a bonus! (Casual malay is all we need)
  • Basic graphic design skills. Canva is a must, Photoshop/Illustrator is a bonus.
  • Basic video editing skills. TikTok/Reels/VN would be good. Premier Pro/Final Cut is a bonus.

The other stuff:

  • Accountable and independent. We are a small team, so we need each person to be responsible without being micromanaged. 
  • Willing to learn. We are happy to train and guide you, but you need to take the initiative to keep leveling up. 
  • Willing to go the extra mile. We are a small team, sometimes all of us do things that are beyond the original job description - we need people who have no issues with this. 
  • Comfortable with change. We are a "fail fast" company, which means we test new things all the time and decide very quickly if we need to change direction.
